STK++ is a multi-platform toolkit written in C++ for creating fast and easy to use data mining programs. It is a work in progress.
In a medium term, STK++ will offer a complete set of template and not-template classes in C++, STK++ will be suitable for projects ranging from small one-off projects to complete data mining application suites.

All STK++ programs are free software; you can redistribute them and/or modify them under the terms of the GNU Lesser (Library) General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation.

The licensing terms for STK++, the GNU LGPL, allow it to be used by all developers, including those developing proprietary software, without any license fees or royalties.

The initial release included a wrapper of the apriori program for mining patterns from itemsets in a transactional database. Ths wrapper is not maintened.

The STK++ team use the eclipse platform with the cdt plugin.
